Jaime Vinck
President, Meadows Behavioral Healthcare
Jaime Vinck, MC, LPC, was recruited in June of 2024 to be the President of Meadows Behavioral Healthcare. In this newly created role, she is providing leadership across all Meadows Residential and Outpatient Operations.
Prior to accepting this opportunity, she was CEO of CPF Recovery Ways. In her role, Jaime provided leadership to the operations in Utah, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Texas. Jaime was previously part of Acadia Healthcare where she was CEO of The Sierra Tucson Group, which included Southern California programs and the AZ Campus of Sierra Tucson. While at Sierra Tucson, Jaime was also Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Operations Officer, demonstrating her strength in clinical leadership, program development and treatment operations.
Jaime has been recognized as a mentor to women in leadership positions within the industry. She has been named Licensed Professional Champion Women of Influence Awards sponsored by Inside Tucson Business and in 2019 was named as one of Arizona’s Most Influential Women by AZ Business Magazine. Jaime regularly been named one of the top leaders in AZ in both Healthcare and Behavioral health.
An industry advocate, Jaime serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP). She speaks nationally and internationally on trending topics, including Suicide, Addiction & Depression, Suicide and the Organization, Compassion Fatigue, and Today’s Marijuana and the Addiction Treatment Experience.

Jennifer Angier, MS
Vice President of Addiction Services, Meadows Behavioral Healthcare
A veteran in the behavioral healthcare field, Jennifer Angier has more than three decades of clinical and operations experience. She is currently the Vice President of Addiction Services for Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, which includes heading up Meadows Case Management, a program she’s personally passionate about.
Among other leadership roles, Jennifer has served in the role of Group CEO for Talbott Recovery Campus and CEO for Black Bear Lodge, both in Georgia. A nationally recognized expert on addiction treatment techniques, she regularly speaks at national conferences to professionals groups, and in employee assistance programs, healthcare, and collegiate programs. Angier earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, as well as earning a master’s in organizational leadership from Mercer University, graduating with highest honors.

Deirdre Stewart
Vice President, Trauma Resolution Services
Deirdre Stewart holds a BA in communication from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and a Master of Science in counseling from The University of New England in New South Wales. She trained at South Pacific Private in Sydney, Australia; Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut; and Family Behavioral Health in Boca Raton, Florida.

Kevin McCauley, MD
Meadows Senior Fellow
After developing his own addiction to prescription opioids, however, Dr. McCauley was court-martialed and imprisoned at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. There he read voraciously of what was known about the disease of addiction at that time. Today, he has over 15 years of continuous sobriety and has worked in a non-clinical capacity at several treatment centers, giving over 2,000 lectures on the neuroscience of addiction and recovery management. From 2004 to 2008, Dr. McCauley was Director of a level III Recovery Residence in Sandy, Utah, and the first president of the Utah Association for Recovery Residences.
Dr. McCauley wrote and directed two films: Memo to Self, about the concepts of recovery management, and Pleasure Unwoven, about the neuroscience of addiction, which won the 2010 Michael Q. Ford Award for Journalism from the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
Kevin currently lives with his wife, Kristine, in Sedona, Arizona, where he is a graduate student at the University of Arizona School of Public Health.

Jon Caldwell, DO, PhD
Chief Medical Officer, Meadows Behaviorial Healthcare
Dr. Jon Caldwell is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adults who have experienced relational trauma and addictive behaviors. His theoretical perspectives are heavily influenced by his PhD training at the University of California at Davis, where he began researching how early childhood maltreatment and insecure attachment relationships affect cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
His clinical approach has increasingly incorporated contemplative psychology, mindfulness and self- compassion practices. Dr. Caldwell has published numerous articles on child maltreatment, attachment theory, emotion regulation, and mindfulness. He is also a noted international speaker and trainer on these and other related topics.

Smitty Grider, LMSW
Case Manager
Smitty Grider came to The Meadows Case Management from his own private therapy practice in Atlanta, Georgia. He previously worked at Atlanta’s Talbott Recovery Campus as director of spiritual/pastoral care for five years. A cum laude graduate from Auburn University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, he completed his master’s in social work at Georgia State University. He is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in the State of Georgia.
Grider has studied a variety of faiths and approaches to prayer and meditation and is a committed practitioner of Zen meditation. He draws from his own practice to inspire and influence his work as a case manager, assisting others on their search for wholeness. In a previous life, he trained and worked as a Certified Public Accountant, specializing in independent audits. Prior to joining MBH, Grider also worked at a person-centered/humanistic youth experiential center in Atlanta counseling young adults and adolescents.
At home, Grider and his wife enjoy a wonderful community of friends and family. He loves concerts, yoga, running, and is an avid long-distance backpacker. You can frequently find him hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Cori Fredette, CADC1
Case Manager
Most recently, she served as program coordinator at The Meadows Malibu, where her role included overseeing a wide variety of aspects of that inpatient treatment program. Fredette’s favorite part of her job is working with patients and their families, so the move to Meadows Case Management was ideal for her experience and personality.
A single mom to an amazing young son named Butch, Fredette also enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, and with loved ones.

Christina Day
A Phoenix native, Christina Day has a background as an underwriter for a commercial insurance company. Over the years, as she watched friends and family members deal with mental health and addiction issues, she knew she wanted to find a way to make a difference. That’s what drew her to working with Meadows Behavioral Healthcare. She began her career at MBH in 2016 as an executive assistant for The Meadows Ranch. Then she transitioned into the role of patient financial coordinator in 2018 before being promoted to lead patient financial coordinator in early 2021. Day’s goal is to provide exceptional customer service to potential patients and families, always delivered with compassion. Her in-depth insurance knowledge and attention to detail ensure she serves them well.
During the day, she’s honored to play a small part in changing lives forever. After work, she goes home to her husband, two young children, and two dogs that are also part of the family. Day loves family barbecues, camping, and riding their side by side.
